Hays is the global leader for specialised recruitment. We are recruiting for an experienced Parts / Stores Officer to join a globally established and respected engineering business working in the mining sector.

Your new role

• 70% Computer & 30% Warehousing
  
• Receiving orders from clients and digging for more detail.
  
• Sourcing and buying parts.
  
• Finding parts in-house through part numbers and locations.
  
• Receiving parts for maintenance or receiving from suppliers.
  
• Dispatching parts for clients going to sites all across Western Australia.
  
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  
• Working as an individual with full accountability.
  
• Manual handling.
  
• Liaising with the workshop for needs, orders, maintenance requirements, etc.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• You MUST be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role as it is a permanent position.
  
• Forklift ticket.
  
• Strong computer skills.
  
• Experience using systems within a Logistics environment.
  
• Experience with hands-on warehousing and operating forklifts.
  
• Ability to conduct manual handling.
  
• Ability to work as an individual and be self-motivated.
