Key Responsibilities:
As our Inventory & Stores Officer, you’ll be accountable for:
Develop and implement inventory management systems and processes aligned with industry best practice, including coding, tracking, data integrity, and work management integration.
Procure, monitor and optimise stock levels of critical parts, consumables, and materials to ensure availability while avoiding excess inventory.
Manage end-to-end inventory operations including receipting, storage, picking, dispatch, deliveries, and pickups.
Collaborate with stakeholders and software vendors to implement and refine inventory functionality within the Asset Information Management System.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency through high attention to detail, organisational skills, and engagement with maintenance personnel for accurate capture of information.
About you:
Extensive experience (5+ years) in inventory, stores or spare parts management.
Demonstrated experience working with a range of stakeholders including maintenance technicians, planners, dispatch and procurement.
Experience with work management systems to record maintenance tasks and resource usage (spare parts and consumables).
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 3 $74,200 - $90,097 + Superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.

About Coliban Water
Coliban Water was established on July 1, 1992 under the Water Act 1989 as a Regional Urban Water Authority.
Coliban Region Water Authority became the Coliban Region Water Corporation on July 1, 2007.
The Corporation is responsible to the Minister for Water, the Hon Lisa Neville MP, and our shareholder is the Victorian Government.
We are one of the larger Victorian Regional urban water corporations.
We manage, maintain and operate 35 reservoirs and water storage basins across North-Central Victoria and provide water and wastewater services to rural and urban customers across an area of 16,550 sqkm.
Our service region includes 49 towns, extending from Cohuna and Echuca in the north to Kyneton and Trentham in the south.
The western boundary incorporates Boort, Wedderburn, Bealiba and Dunolly and the eastern boundary includes Heathcote and Tooborac.
