An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Financial Accountant to join a leading ASX listed insurance group. This is a hands-on role that will give you broad exposure across the finance function, working within a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Month end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assistance with statutory reporting and compliance requirements
• Support with tax accounting and reporting obligations
• Involvement in operational and transactional accounting activities
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting

Required Experience:

• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) with strong technical financial accounting skills
• Experience in insurance, financial services or other complex ASX listed environments desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
