Join Our Team as a Tax Accountant!

Our firm is an established and reputable Accounting and Business Advisory Practice based on the City Fringe of Adelaide and we are looking to expand our team. Working with a diverse range of businesses, we provide strategic and practical accounting advice with a focus on helping our clients to achieve their goals.

The Position:

The role we have available is for a full-time, permanent qualified Chartered Accountant of CPA.

In this role you will be reporting directly to the Principal and will be responsible for the managment of all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. You will ensure that accurate information is provided on a timely basis in accordance with our policies and legislative requirements and be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively in order to achieve company objectives.

Responsibilities:

Liasing with clients, auditors and the ATO

Prepare Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Maintain knowledge of required legislation and keep up to date with any changes

Provide support to the Principal, Clients and other accounting staff.

Knowledge of general tax compliance

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

Chartered Accountant preferred, or CPA

Up to date knowledge of current Australian Tax Legislation

Sound knowledge of Xero and Xero Practice Manager is essential, along with MYOB and Phoenix

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to the finer details

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

An ability to relate to clients and build relationships and rapport

CA, CPA or IPA
