We are seeking a Reception/Meet & Greet attendants who have a vibrant, accommodating personality that will engage with our members and guests to ensure a memorable visit. Personal presentation and creating a professional impression as an ambassador for the venue at all times will be of utmost importance.

• Strong customer service focus, interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Proactive acknowledgement of and engagement with all members and guests as they enter and exit the venue
• Knowledge and enforcement of Responsible Service of Alcohol in relation to Liquor Licensing entry requirements
• Knowledge and adherence of Maroochy RSL entry regulations
• Assist members and guests with any inquiries, including car parking validation, courtesy bus and event information
• Knowledge of Odyssey membership database desirable
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry is essential

The successful applicant will be expected:

• To provide an efficient and effective receptionist function
• To resolve all member and membership enquiries
• To ensure compliance with Maroochy RSL entry and dress requirements
• Have exceptional presentation and grooming
• Have excellent interpersonal and good communication skills and a willingness to actively engage with members and guests, making them feel welcomed and valued
• Have a willingness to acquire knowledge of the day to day events occurring within the venue
• Have the physical ability to spend long-periods of time standing, positioned in and around the venue entry
• Have sound levels of adaptability, awareness and judgement when interacting with members and guests
• Have a current RSA and RSG Statement of Attainments
• Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• To have flexibility with the ability to work on a seven-day roster which includes weekends and nights
