ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Certifier to join a professional certification firm delivering fast-tracked and effective solutions across a diverse range of projects. You’ll play a key role in providing compliance advice, carrying out inspections, and ensuring projects meet all relevant legislative and safety requirements.

DUTIES

• Undertake site inspections and issue inspection reports on all building classes
• Assess documentation and prepare Construction Certificates (CC), Complying Development Certificates (CDC) and Occupation Certificates (OC)
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and design teams to provide clear written and verbal advice
• Prepare BCA Capability reports and clause-by-clause assessments
• Option to exclude certification of Class 2 & 3 buildings if preferred

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying, Town Planning, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of the EP&A Act, Building Code of Australia and related legislation
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills
• Confident working autonomously and within a team
• Current Driver’s Licence and professional presentation
