This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, organized, and efficient Dental Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career. At AOMS, you’ll not only assist our specialist surgeons during complex procedures in our fully accredited Day Surgery but also have the unique opportunity to be trained and paid to become a qualified Sterilisation Technician.
About the Role
In this hands-on role, you’ll support our clinical team in providing exceptional patient care while learning essential sterilisation and infection control processes vital to surgical environments.
We’ll provide full training and support for you to gain certification and confidence as a Sterilisation Technician — an essential and highly valued role in any hospital.
You’ll work in a collaborative and professional environment where continuous learning and teamwork are at the heart of what we do.
About You
You’re a bit of a superstar Dental Assistant who’s ready to expand your skill set and take on a new challenge. You’ll be compassionate and professional, with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.
Your natural organisation skills and attention to detail will help you excel in both dental assisting and the sterilisation area. You’ll love being part of a supportive team and thrive in a busy, high-performing environment.
You have:
Proven Dental Assistant experience with a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (Essential)
Sound computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite
National Police Check (Essential)
Working With Children Check (Essential)
You are:
Professional, well-presented, and reliable
A clear and confident communicator (written and verbal)
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning
