About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Applications, this key leadership role is responsible for:

Managing and modernising enterprise-wide application portfolio

Leading a team of 5-7, including mentoring and professional development

Driving strategic initiatives in line with there 2030 Digital Strategy

Overseeing application lifecycle, support, and vendor management

Ensuring alignment with architectural and compliance frameworks

Building strong partnerships across IT, business, and external vendors

You'll play a vital role in simplifying and optimising systems, improving performance, and ensuring the application environment is fit for future growth.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience managing enterprise application portfolios

Strong technical and stakeholder engagement skills

A proactive, customer-focused approach to service delivery

Knowledge of application lifecycle management, governance, and modernisation

Experience leading teams and managing third-party vendors

Familiarity with cloud adoption, agile methodologies, and digital innovation

Healthcare experience is ideal but not essential.
