About the role
Are you passionate about keeping workers safe? We're looking for a customer service expert with technical aptitude to join our team and help our customers find the right height safety solutions. Based at our office in Albion, QLD, this full-time role will see you providing expert customer support for our industry-leading height safety equipment and solutions.
You don’t need to have previous experience in the industry (though it helps). However, we do require an experienced CSR or office administrator — you will have worked at least three years in a customer service or an administrative role.
You also need to be a quick learner with a bright personality. For you, problem-solving is not a problem.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Someone who is friendly and polite. A people person is a must! You will answer our phones and be the voice of our company.
Order processing. Ideally, you'll have processed orders and provided order updates in a previous role. If not, we can teach you.
Issue resolution. Assist with the resolution of product or service issues.
Estimating and quoting knowledge. You have a basic understanding of quoting and estimating principles or are willing to learn.
Technical aptitude. We find that mathematical abilities are a precursor to this. Where do your maths abilities rate?
At least three years of administration experience. If you don’t have the experience, tell us in your cover letter why you’re still a great fit for the position.
CRM database skills. Experience working within CRMs and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Organisational skills. There’s a difference between saying you’re organised and actually being organised.
The ability to work with others. We’re a team, and we’d need someone who is a good personality fit who can communicate easily.
The ability to turn a negative into a positive. Your empathy and calm demeanour is a critical part of the support chain.
What you'll be doing
Handle all inbound enquiries with prospective and existing customers to understand their height safety needs and recommend the right products and services
Process orders and provide prompt and knowledgeable customer service
Generate and issue quotes
Maintain ongoing strong relationships with customers and proactively address any queries or concerns
Collaborate with the wider sales and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
Stay up-to-date with the latest height safety industry developments, products and regulations
