Are you currently studying a business degree at university and want to get hands on accounting and admin experience in an Accounting Firm?

We are seeking an enthusiastic part-time undergraduate accountant to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to kick start your accounting career in a supportive environment while you complete you studies.

Based in our Sydney CBD office, the successful candidate will be provided with training in order to support the senior accountants in tax compliance processes. The candidate must report to a senior accountant at the end of each day.

Your Duties will Include:

Bookkeeping data entry, bank reconciliations on Xero and MYOB for various company clients

Assisting in the preparation of financial accounts

Assisting in the preparation of individual tax returns

Emailing ATO correspondence to clients

Preparing ASIC letters and emailing clients. Following up on ASIC payments and sending reminders to pay as necessary

Will need to communicate and report daily to senior accountant
