Our client is an industry leader within Australia who value their staff and offer flexible/hybrid WFH working conditions. They are now looking to recruit a Payroll Officer to join their busy team on a full-time permanent basis.

In this role you will be part of a team, responsible for the end-to-end processing of over 600 employees. You will need to be accurate and have excellent communication skills when speaking with internal and external stakeholders.

The role:

• End to end processing of payroll in accordance with the companies policies and procedures - weekly & fortnightly
• Onboarding new starters
• Ensure compliance with superannuation
• Processing termination requests
• Investigate discrepancies in pay or other employee entitlements
• Reconciliations
• Assisting with end of month and end of year activities
• Dealing with Payroll queries

Profile:

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role, as well as excellent communication skills. The following attributes are also highly advantageous:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
• Can do attitude
• Experience using SAP
