Chef - FIFO (or live in)

Do you have a passion for cooking? Are you a qualified chef looking for a new role but want something a little bit different?

Our workplace at the Pardoo Station Homestead is the place to be with a resort feel in a calm and relaxing environment and within an hour and a half from Port Hedland.

As part of Pardoo Wagyu Corporation the Pardoo Homestead short stay is open all year round and welcomes not only tourists but caravanners, campers, families, and backpackers it also hosts hospitality services to a group of corporate clients and can facilitate up to 80 guests at any one time.

The newly renovated precinct boasts a swimming pool, immaculate grounds, a road to its own private beach access where you can see the stunning Pilbara sunsets, fish for Barramundi and spot many of the native bird species.

Reporting directly to the Hospitality Managers you would be working with a small collaborative fun team; this role is offering a FIFO 2:1 swing (Perth WA) or there is a live on-site option taking advantage of the local lifestyle on offer.

You would be responsible for providing three meals a day for up to 80 covers to deliver a high quality, creative and thoughtful menu. The menu to cover a wide variety of freshly made nutritious meals and include cooked and baked dessert options. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, use good initiative with Menu planning, sourcing quality fresh products as well as have high standard in general kitchen efficiency, waste, and hygiene.

You would also be required on occasions to chef for visiting groups such as the Pardoo Wagyu business owner and his clients using our home-grown Wagyu beef.

This opportunity is commencing as soon as possible. As well as a competitive salary and generous incentive scheme, you will also have ensuite accommodation, free WIFI, all meals and access to the resort's facilities.

Previous experience working as a Chef in remote sites would be an advantage.
