Dental Assistant / Nurse – Part-Time Position
📍 Location: Manly Village Dental, Manly
🕒 Part-Time: Tuesdays and Fridays (with potential for additional days)

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at Manly Village Dental, a well-established private practice in the heart of Manly.

This part-time position involves working two days per week (Tuesday and Friday), with the potential to increase hours in the future. The role includes a mix of clinical support and sterilization duties, offering a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide chair-side assistance to our experienced dentists

Ensure strict instrument sterilization and infection control protocols are followed

Deliver outstanding patient care and service

Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

Assist with appointment bookings, telephone calls, and general admin

Support with invoicing, accounts, and patient recall systems

Help maintain a clean, organized and efficient clinic environment

Essential Skills and Experience:

Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or currently studying)

Minimum 1 year of experience preferred – all applicants will be considered

Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Strong work ethic with a positive, proactive attitude

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Experience with Exact dental software is an advantage

Availability to work Tuesdays and Fridays, with potential for extra days
