Senior Commercial Litigator | 5 years plus | Sydney CBD

The Opportunity

Due to growth our client has created a new role in their litigation team for an experienced litigator. This opportunity will see you working closely with the partner and essentially being their 2IC.

This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of complex litigation matters from corporate and shareholder disputes, equity disputes, high value contractual disputes, matters involving constructive trust issues, building disputes, professional negligence litigation.

You will run your own practice, mentor junior lawyers and play a pivotal role in the further growth of the team.

Our client is a long established commercial law firm in the heart of the Sydney CBD. This firm attracts high quality work and high calibre clients. The partners are collaborative and supportive and they pride themselves on being excellent black letter lawyers but also lawyers who understand the inner workings of the business of their clients.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• at least 5 years pae in the area of commercial disputes (or even class actions)
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• the ability to run files autonomously
• genuinely interested in building their profile in commercial litigation
• energy, drive and enthusiasm
