Known for our reliability and excellent service, we are looking for a motivated Hire, Stock & Logistics Controller to join our team and help streamline operations across equipment hire, stock control, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the hire and return process for scaffolding equipment, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded

Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels, including issuing, tracking, and reconciling equipment usage

Plan and coordinate daily logistics for scaffold deliveries, collections, and equipment transfers between sites

Communicate with site teams, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient operations

Handle hire agreements, off-hires, transport paperwork, and any relevant documentation

Conduct regular stock audits and investigate discrepancies or losses

Use hire control or stock management software to manage operations

Optimise delivery routes and transport schedules to reduce downtime and costs

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to transport and materials handling

Requirements:

Previous experience in hire control, stock management, or logistics (ideally within the scaffolding or construction industry)

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams

Good IT skills, particularly in inventory or logistics software and Microsoft Office

Knowledge of scaffolding equipment and terminology (advantageous)

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
