We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Tricon Steel Industries Pty Ltd. This role will suit someone with a solid background in construction industry specifically in steel manufacturing who thrives on managing projects from tender through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact with customers during the tender stage, discussing project schedules and contract requirements.

Review and interpret contracts, ensuring key terms are communicated and agreed upon with sub-contractors.

Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules and Gantt charts, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to meet milestones.

Liaise with the factory to align production schedules with project timelines and organise timely deliveries.

Collaborate with designers to clarify project details during the design stage.

Review and approve final production packages, including models and drawings, prior to commencement.

Coordinate and manage sub-contractors on site, including allocation of plant, materials, and resources.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensuring works are completed in line with plans and schedules.

Undertake quality inspections of works onsite and lead site meetings with customers.

Monitor project budgets, ensuring works are delivered within financial and time constraints.

Assess and review sub-contractor tenders, negotiating to achieve budget and project objectives.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry, with proven project coordination or management experience.

Strong knowledge and practical experience with Light Gauge Steel (LGS) frames.

Proficient in interpreting project documentation, drawings, and technical plans.

Hands-on experience with construction tools, equipment, and levelling instruments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Current Australian driver’s licence.

Valid Construction White Card.
