About the role

As the Chief Finance Officer within the Boundary Creek Group, you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's financial operations and contributing to its strategic direction. This full-time position is located in Wallaville, Queensland and offers an exciting opportunity to lead the finance function within a thriving organisation.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the group's business objectives

Manage the group's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Analyse financial data and provide insights to inform decision-making at the executive level

Contribute to the overall strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organisation

Identify and mitigate financial risks, and implement appropriate controls and policies

What we're looking for

Proven track record as a Chief Financial Officer or senior finance executive, with at least 3 years of relevant experience

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA)

Extensive knowledge of financial management, reporting, and compliance within the accounting industry

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team

Strategic mindset, with the ability to align financial strategies with the group's overall business objectives

Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
