Commercial Project Manager

Ascend Recruit are seeking a motivated Client-side Project Manager on behalf of our client - a highly regarded property development and project advisory consultancy delivering diverse projects across Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team and play a key role in driving high-quality commercial projects from conception through to completion.

About the Role

• Lead the delivery of commercial projects across sectors including office, retail, mixed-use, and industrial.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles - from feasibility and planning through procurement, delivery, and handover.
• Oversee budgets, programs, contractor performance, risk, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide client-side project management and work closely with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to a varied portfolio of projects, ranging from $1M to $50M+.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, development, or consultancy.
• Strong background in budget control, reporting, and contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent client engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with construction/project management software.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or Property (preferred).
