The Role

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer with experience in Ground Engineering solutions including - Ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, architectural shotcrete and retention & foundation piling works to join their Brisbane team.

The successful candidate will start immediately on a long term Major Infrastructure project that runs for the next 2 year in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

• Essential experience in Ground Engineering and Stabilisation solutions including: Soil Nails, Rock Bolts, Walers and Bracing, Anchor Stressing, Shotcrete (Fibrecrete / Gunite), Shoring Walls, Pendulum Drilling and Piling (CFA Piling and Micro Piling).
• Technical Expertise: Providing technical guidance and support on all the above ground engineering and stabilisation solutions.
• Team Leadership: Managing and coordinating the activities of engineers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved on the projects.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
• Quality Assurance: Completing quality control procedures and conducting site inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
• Cost Control: Monitoring project costs, managing budgets, and reporting on financial status.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
• Document Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and correspondence.
• Procurement: Assisting with the procurement process for materials and services.
• Site Inspections: Regularly inspecting work sites to ensure that work is being carried out according to specifications and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 + years experience in Ground Engineering and Stabilisation solutions including: Soil Nails, Rock Bolts, Walers and Bracing, Anchor Stressing, Shotcrete (Fibrecrete / Gunite), Shoring Walls, Pendulum Drilling and Piling (CFA Piling and Micro Piling) - (Essential requirement to be considered for this role)
• Tertiary Qualified in Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering (Essential requirement).
• Required experience in: Ground engineering solutions including ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, architectural shotcrete, retention & foundation piling, specialist civils contracting and ground improvement (Essential requirement).
• Excellent communication skills - with internal and external people.
• Full Drivers License.
• White Card.
• Full Australian working rights - No sponsorship available.
