Interchange Australia is an award-winning organisation enabling people to live independently. We have been providing services for over 30 years to people living in the south-western Sydney, Southern Highlands and Southern Tablelands communities.

About the role

Our team of support workers provide help and care to people with disabilities and older adults in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. The work can vary from client to client, and includes personal care, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, and transport. It’s rewarding work –an opportunity to make a real difference for someone else.

About you

An experienced aged care and/or disability support worker, you are genuinely passionate about helping people, reliable and diligent, and willing to travel within the Goulburn and Southern Tablelands area to clients' homes.

You also have:

· Certificate III in Individual Support (aged care and/or disability) or working towards

· Unrestricted working rights

· NDIS Worker Screening Check

· NSW Working With Children Check

· First Aid Certificate

· NSW drivers’ licence – minimum P2 (green)

· Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle

· Smart phone

· Completed NDIS Worker Orientation module
