About the Role

We are excited to offer a full time opportunity for an enthusiastic customer-focussed individual to join our Library and Customer Relations team on a permanent basis.
This position is based across both the Holbrook and Jindera Customer Relations Offices and Libraries. The work schedule is structured as follows: Holbrook on Mondays, Tuesdays and every second Friday; and Jindera on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
You will be part of a supportive team and perform customer relations and library functions. A salary ranging from $1,243.30 to $1,392.50 gross per 35-hour week will be offered to the successful applicant.
Responsibilities of the Role
- To present as the first point of contact for Council matters, both in person and over the phone, dedicated to delivering high-quality service
- Provide accurate information to customers
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM systems
- Collaborate with other internal departments to assist in responding to queries
- Provide information and support to customers in relation to products and services offered through Services Australia, NSW TrainLink, Companion Animals and Riverina Regional Library
- Contribute to the operation of the Library and assist with operational duties, activities and events
- Undertake reporting activities as required
- Provide support and assistance to the Events Officer as required, and
- Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment at the Holbrook and Jindera Customer Relations Centre/Library.
About You

- Have exceptional communication and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be organised, reliable and passionate about creating positive customer experiences in a highly customer-focused environment
- Have proven experience providing quality customer service to a diverse group of people with a professional approach
- Demonstrate well-developed computer and administrative skills
- Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Show strong attention to detail, particularly when handling cash and preparing written correspondence
- Hold a current Working with Children Check (employee), and
- Hold a valid Australian Class 'C' drivers license.
