Complete Staff Solutions are looking to find 3x Customer Service Officers to work at the Coffs Harbour Pool!

Purpose of the role:

You will be part of the team delivering high quality customer service to members and guests across a range of areas including facility bookings, the provision of program and services information, and merchandise sales.

Hours: Monday - Sunday, up to 38 hours per week

Start/Assignment length: Commencement ASAP, for up to 3 months with the possibility of extension.

Pay Rate: $35.62 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Pool reception and kiosk, including servicing customers to access pool services and programs, retail and kiosk facilities.
  • Operate and maintain facility management systems, including point of sale systems and processing customer fees and charges.
  • Provide friendly, effective, and efficient frontline customer/client service and support to customers of the Pools by responding to customer enquiries, providing information in relation to venue facilities, hire, events, programs and activities and offering other customer support services.
  • Ensure customers comply with the City’s policies and manage difficult customers, referring to supervisor or authorities as required.
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including processing invoices, taking program bookings, record keeping and incident logging and reporting, keeping inventories and ordering stock.
  • Perform start-up and end-of-day procedures, including facility security measures, balancing cash registers, reconciliations and securing monies taken.
  • Ensure the facilities are maintained and cleaned to an appropriate standard, including rudimentary and spot cleaning as required.
  • Undertake other tasks/duties as directed by your leader – that are within the skills, capability and training of the employee.

Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated highly developed customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with different age groups and clientele.
  • Well-developed administrative and numeracy skills, including cash handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated digital literacy, with proven competency in Microsoft Office and information management systems.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer service role in a face-to-face environment
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • 2 x work related references
  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
