The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Project Officer to lead initiatives that strengthen services for children and families across South Australia. Based in Adelaide, you will shape strategy, provide high-level advice, and guide colleagues to deliver projects with real impact. In this role, you will
Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of strategic projects.
Provide expert advice and analysis to guide decisions and reforms.
Prepare high-quality reports, briefings and project documentation.
Mentor and support colleagues to build project management capability.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence positive outcomes.
To be successful
You are an experienced leader with a track record of delivering strategic projects in complex environments. You thrive on influencing outcomes, building strong relationships, and driving reforms that make a difference.
You bring high-level analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to mentor and guide colleagues. Your expertise allows you to manage competing priorities, oversee risks, and provide authoritative advice to senior stakeholders.
