About us

Our supermarket employs 70+ staff in a supportive, family-run environment and is one of WA's top performing stores. Preston Street IGA was awarded WA Store of the Year in 2001, 2005, 2018, 2019 & 2024 and Australia's Best IGA in 2019. Our Deli has taken out Best IGA Deli in WA in 2019, 2020 & 2021. We're locals serving locals in Como.

The role

You'll be part of a positive, upbeat deli crew delivering excellent food and service every day. Typical tasks include:

Preparing and presenting fresh salads, sandwiches/rolls and take-home meals

Slicing and portioning smallgoods and cheeses; building antipasto and catering platters

Supporting rotisserie and hot food production

Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards (set-up, clean-as-you-go, closing cleans)

Labelling, packaging and merchandising to standard

Engaging customers with great service, product knowledge and a friendly smile

Valid Australian work visa is required for this position.
