About the role

Joining Oscar Charlie Hair as a Part time senior stylist, you will be an integral member of our vibrant and creative hair salon located in the heart of Port Melbourne. In this role, you will leverage your exceptional hairstyling skills and customer service expertise to provide a premium experience for our valued clients. Working part-time hours, you will have the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments.

What you'll be doing

Delivering high-quality haircuts, colouring, and styling services to clients

Recommending and selling professional hair care products to enhance the client experience

Maintaining an organised and clean workspace to provide a welcoming salon environment

Mentoring and training junior stylists to uphold our salon's exceptional standards

Contributing to the salon's overall success by actively participating in team meetings and events

What we're looking for

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior stylist in a reputable hair salon

Strong technical skills in a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a premium client experience

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and mentor junior stylists

A creative flair and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques

A friendly, professional, and reliable demeanour
