About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Time Chef to join our talented culinary team at the D'Aguilar Hotel in D'Aguilar QLD 4514. This is a full-time role in our vibrant hotel.

What you'll be doing

Preparing a variety of high-quality dishes for our restaurant and catering menus

Assisting with menu development and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation

Supervising and training kitchen staff to maintain efficient kitchen operations

Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations

Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a similar hospitality setting

Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a diploma or certificate in commercial cookery

Proficiency in a range of cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and baking

Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
