About the Role:
We're seeking a passionate Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partner (Return to Work Coordinator) in a fixed-term role that offers an exciting chance to join the BPC's Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Safety Team.
Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Systems, the Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) works in partnership with the Health Safety and Wellbeing Partners to implement the Building and Plumbing Commission's (BPC's) Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy in partnership with divisions and business units across the organisation. In addition, this role will work with leaders and employees to improve safety & wellbeing culture across the BPC.
The Health Safety and Wellbeing Partner (RTWC) will:
- Overseeing the end-to-end management of worker's compensation claim processes and return to work coordination.
- Leading the implementation of the BPC's wellbeing program,
- Development of wellness plans for staff with impairment in conjunction with return-to-work specialists.
- Providing health, safety & wellbeing advice to stakeholders within the BPC

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
