About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a mental health not-for-profit organisation based just north of Melbourne's CBD, who are currently seeking a permanent Return-to-Work / Injury Management Advisor to join their dynamic People & Culture team.
You’ll play a key role in embedding best-practice injury management processes and driving early intervention strategies. You'll work closely with injured employees, people leaders, health practitioners, and insurers across a national footprint, ensuring timely and supportive return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for injury and claims management across the organisation.
- Provide expert guidance and support to leaders and injured employees.
- Develop tailored RTW plans and liaise with insurers, rehab providers, and internal teams.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal Workers Compensation legislation.
- Provide regular reports and data insights to the WHS Advisor and broader P&C team.
- Support early intervention initiatives and build capability across the organisation.
- Attend conciliations and external meetings where required.
About You
- Experienced in Workers Compensation and Return to Work coordination.
- Solid knowledge of relevant Workers Compensation legislation across multiple states.
- Ability to manage complex cases with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in a medium to large organisation, ideally in the community or NFP sectors.
- Allied Health, WHS or HR qualifications.
- Experience supporting mental health or disability-focused teams.
- Knowledge of national injury management approaches and systems.
