Data Entry and Hardware Technician

Salary: $32-40 per hour + super | Casual position

About the role:

We’re looking for a Data Entry and Hardware Technician to join our small but growing team in Melbourne.

In this hybrid position, you will either process and organise digital images to support analysis by our AI-powered road safety systems or travel to sites across metropolitan Melbourne to carry out hardware repairs and routine maintenance.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, enjoys hands-on work and feels confident using a multimeter, working safely with 24 volt camera systems and handling circuit boards. You will work closely with our Operations Manager and receive comprehensive training, with the goal of achieving full autonomy as you progress. We are seeking someone who is ready to start immediately.

We’re flexible and open to finding a schedule that works for everyone. Typically we’re looking for people interested in working between 10-30 hours per week.

Application criteria:

Demonstrated technical hardware skills (currently enrolled or holding qualifications such as a Certificate, Diploma or higher)

A valid driver’s licence and access to a car

Ability to rapidly acquire an in-depth knowledge of our hardware and develop a fundamental level understanding of our software operations

Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, multimeters

Proficiency in Windows 10, Google Cloud Platform and the full Microsoft Office Suite
