POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail Marketing Co-ordinator will be responsible for optimising the digital sales channel and in-store retail store performance through driving store traffic, sales transaction value, conversion rates and customer experience.
ENVIRONMENT, RELATIONSHIP AND SCOPE
The nature of this key marketing position is to develop and implement the digital and in-store marketing strategies which build sustainable commercial value.
The objective is to utilise on-line pre purchase research tools and party planning resource tools within the in store shopping experience.
This includes functions ranging from content creation, customer service, social media management, catalogues, e-marketing campaigns, advertising and developing the customer experience.
The incumbent will report to the National Retail Manager and work closely with the Retail Purchasing Manager and Retail Online Merchandiser.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Develop strategies and manage the execution of online and in store campaigns.
Develop and execute in store and online promotions.
Coordinate advertising & promotional campaigns – generate catalogue briefs, art direction, layout, copy and approval.
Organise & maintain sales and marketing activity and planning in conjunction with Procurement and Operations.
Manage the retail advertising budget including all online and in store advertising activities.
Develop and manage social media platforms ie: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc.
Create and maintain company blogs.
Video content creation including the planning and production of instructional and information content video for publication on YouTube.
Article content development through the regular copy writing of articles for publication.
Monitor competitor activities and develop combative strategies.
Monitor site performance using Google Analytics and any other available analytics tools.
Manage and maintain Loyalty Program member data, offers both in store and online.
Manage Google Business Pages including Posts, Offers & Monthly Reporting.
Attend regular department meetings and be an effective team member.

EDUCATION
VCE
Tertiary qualification with marketing or related specialty
EXPERIENCE
Content management systems experience
Social media marketing experience
E-Commerce platform experience
Retail Industry experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The capability to write articles and reviews to a publishable quality. The ability to interpret statistics and write and present reports to management. The skills to communicate with customers, vendors and all levels of company management.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The capacity to calculate figures and values such as discounts, percentages, gross margin, cost and sell prices and conversion ratios.
REASONING ABILITY
The capability to prioritise and apply initiative to facilitate instructions in written, oral and diagram form. The ability to formulate solutions to complex abstract problems.
BEHAVIOURAL
High level of integrity.
Excellent communication, people and team skills are essential to the success of this position.
Strong customer focus.
High level of initiative required for day to day operations.
Excellent planning skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and deal with problems involving several variables in abstract situations.

REMUNERATION
This is a management salary position and the package is commensurate with the responsibility of the position.
