About the role

We're looking for a Practice Coordinator to join our Client Connect Team as a full time employee at our Fitzroy North office. This role offers varied work in a busy environment, and involves provision of support for practitioners, initial bookings and triage, other associated reception functions, site management and organising social events. You will play a key role in making sure the practice is a warm and welcoming environment where clients receive an exceptional standard of care.

About you

You'll be able to demonstrate:

At least one year experience in a similar administrative or office management role in a psychological, allied health, medical or other private practice setting.

An ability to deal empathetically with a diverse client base, including people with complex needs.

Attention to detail is highly valued.

A proven ability to prioritise competing demands and thrive under pressure.

Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner.

Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain before commencement)

Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain one prior to starting)

Because of the nature of our work, we will look favourably upon candidates with an understanding of the mental health care system in Australia. Experience with Coreplus Practice Management software will be highly regarded (but not essential).
