We're looking for an experienced WHS Advisor to drive our internal safety, health and wellbeing programs to ensure our business continues to meet the highest standards of care and compliance.
About the role:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Health & Safety, you'll work together to champion the internal operations and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on, internally facing role responsible for:
- ISO Certification Excellence: Manage our ISO 45001 and related compliance activities
- HSE & Office Safety: Oversee safety audits, hazard management and well-being initiatives across our offices
- Training & Compliance: Maintaining the internal training register, ensuring all staff are up to date with WHS & Emergency training.
- Communication and Engagement: Create engaging internal newsletters and safety updates to promote awareness and wellbeing
- Wellbeing Leadership: Supporting proactive health, safety and wellbeing initiatives that reflect our values.
About you:
You're a confident communicator and trusted advisor, who can translate WHS legislation into practical people focused outcomes. You thrive in a fast moving, collaborative environment and have a passion for continuous improvements.
You'll bring:
- Degree or Diploma in WHS (essential)
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience (essential)
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (highly regarded)
- Experience in developing and implementing ISO 45001 (highly regarded)
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to safety and wellbeing.
