The Three Crowns Hotel is a classic local in West Melbourne — a friendly, community-focused pub known for great food, cold drinks, and warm hospitality. We’re not just serving pints; we’re building a place where people feel at home.

We’re looking for a Bar Supervisor / Lead Bartender who’s equal parts talented and personable. Someone who can keep the bar running smoothly, deliver cracking drinks, and engage customers with genuine hospitality.

You’ll bring strong cocktail knowledge, a warm and engaging demeanour, and the confidence to lead from the front. You’ll also have excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset — if a table needs clearing, you’re on it; if a water bottle’s empty, it’s already topped up.

Creative input is encouraged — from the Cocktail of the Week to working with senior management on specials and events.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading the bar during service and setting the standard for the team

Creating cocktails & weekly features that get people talking

Engaging with customers and bringing a genuinely hospitable vibe

Showing sharp attention to detail and jumping in before anyone asks

Working with senior management to grow the bar program

Keeping the bar clean, organised, and efficient

Supporting and training staff to deliver great service

What we’re looking for:

2–3 years’ bar experience in pubs or cocktail venues

Confident leadership and communication skills

Strong cocktail skills and a passion for drinks

Warm, engaging personality — you make people feel welcome

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach

Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment

This is a part-time role (25–30 hrs) with a clear pathway to full-time as the role grows. Rosters are built with work–life balance in mind, while keeping service sharp.
