BARTENDER – Casual Positions

New boutique restaurant/wine bar Meat Me Now is seeking passionate bartenders (multiple positions available) to join the team.

Located in Hawthorn, Meat Me Now is a cozy meeting place for guests to wine and dine.

We are a friendly team passionate in the hospitality industry. Great food and superior

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing an exceptional beverage experience to all guests including making cocktails.

• Following the appropriate standard operating procedures and sequence of service

procedures in the execution of your duties.

• Bar set up and pack down according to bar operations procedure.

• Working collaboratively with all team members to maximise guest satisfaction and

revenue generation opportunities.

• Support day to day operations including stock management.

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and drink serving area.

• Maintaining communication with the manager on duty so that information regarding

special requests or customer feedback can be effectively actioned.

EXPERIENCE

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as bartender

• Able to work flexible hours across nights and weekends

• Solid knowledge of cocktails, wines and spirits

• Confident in making classic cocktails

• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Reliable and a friendly attitude

• Enjoy interactions with guests

• Effective time management

Bonus but not Required:

• Knowledge of wine and food pairing

• Ability to create signature cocktails

• Experience with curated cocktail menus
