The role
The Water Quality Technical Officer will coordinate the day-to-day activities of field staff and provide technical support in the operation of Gippsland Water’s water disinfection facilities, with the objective of providing safe drinking water for customers within regulatory and industry guidelines and standards.
What you’ll bring
Certificate III Water Industry Operations and/or significant industry experience.
Working knowledge of Safe Drinking Water Act 2003 and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines 2011 applicable to the water industry.
Demonstrated experience of performing in a team environment, with the ability to lead and motivate others.
Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of field data to assess water quality system performance
A current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence and a suitable level of fitness as required for this role.
