The Role – the meeting of creativity and technical skills

The Post-Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the studio’s end-to-end production process, ensuring that all work is delivered on time, to standard, within scope and budget. This role combines hands-on technical skills, team management, and process oversight to maintain the studio’s high-quality results and client expectations.

The Key Responsibilities:

Retouch images in Photoshop to a professional, client-ready standard.

Oversee and help prepare, print, and order digital and hard-copy orders.

Collaborate with colleagues to prioritise assignments and meet client needs.

Engage with clients concerning any retouching, delivery issues.

Maintain and improve quality control across all retouching and production work.

Monitor turnaround times and workload capacity, adjusting resources as needed.

Maintain effective relationship with suppliers to ensure production needs and timelines are consistently met.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, new methods and ideas for the continuing success of the Studio.

Skills Required:

Advanced retouching skills – including the use of Photoshop, Adobe Bridge.

Experience in preparing, printing, and ordering hard-copy client product.

Excellent eye for detail and commitment to high-quality visual output.

Effective communicator, able to liaise with creative, technical, and client-facing teams to ensure product is on-time and within budget.

Highly organized with strong time and project management abilities.

Experienced in problem solving while under critical time pressures.

Experience in rostering and managing team members a plus
