About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee civil works across substation and renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership on large-scale electrical infrastructure projects and the ability to deliver safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all civil site activities: excavation, formwork, conduit installation, concrete works, and foundations.

Manage subcontractors and crews to meet project targets.

Ensure compliance with QA, HSE, and client specifications (Transgrid, Powerlink, AusNet, etc.).

Interpret drawings, ITPs, and specifications for civil and electrical interface works.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and HV supervisors for seamless delivery.

Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and daily reporting.

Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil supervision within HV substation or industrial construction.

Strong understanding of earthing, trenching, and foundation systems.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Ability to interpret design drawings and QA documentation.

White Card, current driver’s licence, and relevant civil trade/engineering qualifications.

Advantageous: experience under Transgrid/Powerlink standards.
