Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Cook with specialist skills in pastries, breads, desserts, and the preparation of authentic Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine. This is a key role in our kitchen to maintain food quality and authenticity, and to support the training of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present Middle Eastern, Asian, and other dishes on the menu.

Prepare pastries, breads, and desserts for catering and menu service.

Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations.

Assist in developing and improving menu items and recipes.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, especially in baking and pastry-making techniques.

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storage of supplies.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in pastry, bakery, and dessert preparation.

Demonstrated expertise in Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine, including knowledge of traditional recipes and techniques.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: $76,515-$80,000
