About the role

Escagrill is seeking talented and experienced Professional Section Waiters to join our dynamic farm to table restaurant in the inner northwest suburb of Moonee ponds.

This is a successful Family run European influenced Modern Australian restaurant that has become a destination in inner northwest suburbs of Melbourne CBD with an ethos for sustainability, fine food, and food awareness.

As a Professional Section Waiter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant floor. Full-time & Part time positions available, offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive environment. Great Pay, and even better hours!

What you'll be doing

Providing attentive and personalised service to customers throughout their dining experience

Taking orders, communicating with the kitchen, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals and beverages

Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with menu selections and special requests

Ensuring the restaurant floor is well-organised, clean, and well-stocked at all times

Resolving customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to uphold the high standards of Escagrill'

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional waiter or server in a high-quality restaurant or similar hospitality setting

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a warm, friendly, and efficient dining experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu items, allergens, and preparation methods

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to upholding high standards of service
