We are a diversified venue with an engaging community. We offer multiple spaces including a brasserie, bar, private rooms, wine store and grocer.

Hospitality experience will be highly regarded. However, we will also consider applicants wishing to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will:
Work as part of the wider restaurant team.
Promote a culture that provides intelligent service; able to anticipate guest needs.
Build rapport with all customers – generating return guests.
Set and arrange tables.
Take reservations, greet customers and present them with menus and beverage lists; recommend dishes and wines to complement food.
Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and beverages; opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar.
Clear tables and return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen; removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses.
Collect payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers.
Take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of yourself and other employees.
Ensure that any workplace injuries or hazards are immediately reported, correctly documented and followed up as required.
Work to maintain the quality of food and beverages served.
Ensure that all equipment is treated with the appropriate respect.
Routinely check all areas of the restaurant – to ensure cleanliness, safety and function.
Ensure that any maintenance issues are escalated promptly.
Provide outstanding dining experiences that guarantee repeat guests.
Promote the use of suggestive selling and up-selling to increase average spends.
Endorse the use of promotions and events to generate covers and revenue.
Work to actively minimise wastage of food and beverage items.
Minimisation of breakages through the business.
Follow the ‘Occupational Health and Safety Act, 2004’ and promote a safe workplace.
Strong knowledge and enforcement of the ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’
Monitor food service, taking reasonable steps to ensure the safety of food.
