Coordinator Landscape Design Services
Salary: $123,820 - $131,778 per annum
Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
Restricted Private Use of Vehicle
Full Time Permanent Position

The City is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified person to provide effective leadership to our Landscape Design Services team. In this role you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of Landscape Architects and Project Officers managing the planning, design and construction of the City’s parks and urban landscapes in line with the Capital Works Program. This is an exciting opportunity to create a lasting impression on the City’s natural and urban realm.
This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and requires strong leadership and a commitment to innovative design, plus project and contract management principles and the ability to meet objectives and deadlines. The successful applicant will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, high level knowledge of landscape design and project implementation practices as well as knowledge in budget planning and scheduling.
Successful applicants will be required to hold:
WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
Current National Police Certificate
Current Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card)

Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture.
Certificate IV in Leadership Management or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in people management including coaching and leading multi-disciplinary work teams and effectively dealing with employee matters.
Extensive experience in project and contract management including tendering processes.
Extensive experience in capital works and operational budget preparation, monitoring and reporting in a corporate based financial/accounting system.
