We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Draftsperson who is ready to step into a transformational leadership role. This is a rare opportunity to not only showcase your technical drafting expertise but also to play a strategic role in shaping a new internal team.

The Position:
At present, all drafting is delivered via subcontractors. Over the next 12 months, you will:

• Manage subcontractor drafting outputs, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Develop and implement internal systems, processes, and Revit families to establish a scalable in-house drafting capability.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow an internal drafting team to support the company’s expanding pipeline of Tier 2 projects.

This position blends hands-on drafting delivery with leadership and process development. Once the team is established, your role will transition into a more traditional Drafting Manager focus in leading people, improving systems, and driving quality.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson with strong HVAC expertise.
• Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of BIM coordination.
• Experience managing drafting workflows and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and build a team.
