Kellys Mitre 10 is a proudly independent, locally owned hardware store in Wodonga. We’re known for our expert advice, extensive product knowledge, and welcoming in-store experience - and we’re looking for a hands-on Store Manager who can keep things humming.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and support the floor team to deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge across hardware, powertools, garden and animal produce.

Oversee daily store presentation, stock levels, and merchandising standards.

Coordinate workflow to ensure smooth operations during peak and off-peak periods.

Mentor and train team members, building skills and confidence across the floor.

Work closely with staff to ensure shelves are always well-stocked, ticketed correctly, and displays are both tidy and engaging.

Handle escalated customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Monitor inventory accuracy, manage stock replenishment, and oversee ordering and invoicing.

Drive team compliance with store policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement in service, processes, and team culture.

Provide regular reporting to management.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role.

Strong people management skills and the ability to lead by example.

A customer-first approach with the confidence to handle complex enquiries.

Solid organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Competence with point-of-sale and inventory systems, as well as general office software and apps.

A proactive mindset with a knack for spotting and solving problems quickly.

An understanding of – or interest in – hardware, trade, garden, or animal produce products, combined with the ability to learn fast.
