Mecon Construction is seeking a Casual/Part-Time Repairs and Maintenance Allrounder with mechanical aptitude who is willing to take on a variety of tasks, including cleaning and general site support. About the Role

We are seeking a semi-retired Repairs and Maintenance Allrounder with strong mechanical aptitude and extensive practical experience. You should be comfortable working independently across multiple sites, handling a variety of tasks including repairs, maintenance, and general cleaning. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise across multiple sites located south of the river in Perth.

Key Skills and Experience We’re Looking For

Extensive experience in repairs, maintenance, or mechanical work, ideally within industrial or commercial settings

Proficient in:

General repairs and preventative maintenance across industrial or commercial sites

Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical equipment and small machinery

Using hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment safely

Basic cleaning and site upkeep tasks

Understanding and applying safety procedures in an industrial environment

Ability to work independently or support a team as needed

Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks beyond core maintenance

What We Expect From You

Previous experience in repairs, maintenance, or industrial/commercial settings

Strong practical skills and high-quality workmanship

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Safety-first mindset and proactive approach to hazards

Reliable, punctual, and flexible to take on a variety of tasks

Full driver’s licence and own transport

White Card (construction induction) or willingness to obtain
