An exciting company in the financial services industry is looking to hire a Cyber Security Manager. The company is well established in the Australian market and has grown to over 250 employees nation-wide. The Cyber Security Manager will be responsible for a combination of hands-on technical oversight mixed with people management of an established team, both across the Operations and Engineering verticals.

This role would suit somebody with a strong cyber security technical background who has experience in leading a team and wants to make that next step up into management.

What you will be doing:

• Leading the full end-to-end management of the Cyber Security & Network Security environment
• Manage the SOC and response to threats targeting financial systems
• Lead the investigations into security incidents & perform post-incident reviews
• Take ownership of and enhance vulnerability management, IAM & Penetration Testing
• Ensure compliance with financial regulatory standards ( APRA CPS 234, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 )
• Collaborate closely with other technology teams to ensure security across all applications and platforms
• Engage with internal stakeholders, auditors and regulators

What you need to succeed:

• Vast experience in Cyber Security Operations
• Previous experience leading a team of Security Engineers / Analysts
• Experience supporting business-critical infrastructure within financial services
• Proven experience with SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability scanners
• Previous experience with Cloud Security ( AWS / Azure )
• Experience working with APRA, ISO27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS
• Strong understanding of Network Architecture & Network Security technologies
• Effective communication skills
