The Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded non-bank lender with a proven track record of success. Known for its innovative funding solutions and private equity backing, the firm operates with a dynamic, collaborative culture and a reputation for excellence.

Based in Sydney’s CBD, this opportunity sits within a lean, high-calibre FP&A team and offers broad exposure across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and partnering with senior leaders to support decision-making.

This is a key role that would suit a technically strong and commercially astute accountant, looking to deepen their experience in FP&A and business partnering within financial services.

The Challenge
Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting packs across multiple business units
• Delivery of financial analysis and insights to support key decision-making
• Support commercial teams with revenue and cost analysis, identifying opportunities and risks
• Partner with business leaders to improve processes, reporting and controls
• Assist with board reporting, ad hoc projects and presentations for senior stakeholders
• Champion process improvement across reporting, systems, and analytics

The Expertise
You should consider applying if you have:

• CA/CPA qualification and a background in chartered (Big 4 or mid-tier), FP&A, deals, or financial services
• Strong technical grounding in financial modelling, analysis and reporting
• Commercial acumen, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
• Understanding of securitisation or treasury is valued but not essential
