Our client is a billion dollar Australia industry leader, they have experienced year on year 20% growth, due to the constant growth, they’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance business partner
This role is key in driving strategic initiatives, financial performance, top line growth, partnering with Senior stakeholders and executives, and supporting long term growth journey.

WFH options ( 2-3 days at home per week) and onsite parking

The Role

• Lead and support the finance team to achieve business outcomes and foster a collaborative team culture
• Provide financial information and support to Centre Managers, Heads of, Regional Manager
• Prepare accurate forecasts and interpret data using different techniques and non-financial indicators
• Prepare general journal and monthly accrual processing for month end reporting
• Support the development of centre managers financial acumen, proactively educate and challenge managers to understand and utilise the advice and information for decision-making, financial stewardship, measurement and achievement
• Prepare reports and presentations with the purpose of informing them of financial performance, risks, corrective actions and opportunities
• Prepare and support the development of business cases, ensuring recommendations meet the needs of the contract, City of Sydney communities and are financially sound
• Ensure data is analysed, designed and presented in a way that assists in making better business decisions
• Identify any contractual and financial risks and proactively escalate these to the Regional Manager.

Your Experience

• High level of stakeholder engagement.
• Extensive experience with Excel and financial accounting packages, BI analysis tools and reporting systems.
• High level analytical/ problem solving and complex business case development skills.
• Experience in the development and maintenance of complex financial models.
• FMCG/Retail/Healthcare/Property experience will be high regarded
