The Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity for an experienced and commercially astute professional to join the Sydney based Treasury and Structured Finance division of a market leading non-bank lender. This leadership focused and market facing role offers direct responsibility for securitisation programmes and structured funding transactions across multiple asset classes.

As Head of Securitisation, you will take ownership of high profile warehouse and term transactions, lead execution workstreams, and play a key role in shaping funding strategy and investor engagement across Australia and New Zealand. The position provides both local and regional exposure, connectivity with global investors, and the chance to mentor team members while consolidating your career within a high growth environment.

The Challenge
In this Head of Securitisation role, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the structuring, execution and management of securitisation transactions, ensuring quality and timely outcomes
• Overseeing transaction performance and reviewing complex financial models to support robust assessments
• Preparing and reviewing presentations, board materials, and investor reporting
• Acting as a primary contact for arrangers, investors, trustees and external advisers, representing the lender in the market
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting their technical development
• Driving strategic initiatives, thought leadership, and funding innovation within the business

The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in securitisation or structured finance, ideally from a bank, non-bank lender, arranger, or consultancy
• Deep knowledge of securitisation structures, transaction documentation, and financial modelling
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent the lender externally
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience guiding and mentoring junior staff
• A relevant degree in finance, economics, or accounting; CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications highly regarded
• A collaborative and commercial mindset with the ability to influence outcomes in a fast paced environment
