About the role

Sumitomo Rubber Australia Pty Ltd, a leading tyre wholesaler, is seeking an experienced Sales Administration & Support Manager to join their dynamic team. This full-time position, based in Prestons NSW 2170, will be responsible for overseeing the sales administration and support functions, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the Customer Service team to ensure efficient processing of orders, invoicing, and customer inquiries

Collaborate with our Sales Team and internal departments to develop and maintain robust administrative processes and systems to support the sales function

Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales and order data to support decision-making

Serve as the primary point of contact for our customer service team, addressing their needs and resolving any issues

Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales and customer service operations

Mentor and develop the Customer Service team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Oversee administration and assist in development of new business departments due to expansion of business

Working directly with the Director of Sales

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales administration or customer service management role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry

Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and cross-functional teams

Proficient in using sales, customer relationship management, and administrative software. SAP would be an advantage

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a drive to continuously improve processes

A collaborative team player with the ability to lead and develop a team
