We are working with a global resources organisation that operates across the full raw materials supply chain.

An opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join their Brisbane CBD office on a full-time basis. This role reports to the CFO and will provide broad exposure across accounts receivable, general accounting, reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of accounts receivable, including preparation of high-value invoices, monitoring payments, and ensuring cash flow visibility.
• Support month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, payroll, and tax lodgments.
• Assist with financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and contribute to process improvements across finance systems and reporting.
• Liaise with stakeholders to support business operations.

About You

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, with CA/CPA studies completed or in progress.
• Strong experience in accounts receivable and general accounting.
• Previous exposure to heavy industry (desirable).
• Proactive and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Professional and collaborative, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
